Introduce major triad shape

🏛️History · Unit 3

The AAB verse has three lines — and three lines times 4 bars = 12 bars. The form IS the poem. When you play a major triad over the I chord, you are harmonizing the "call" — the opening statement of the verse.

Track the three-part verse in Sweet Home Chicago: first A line → guitar responds. Second A line → guitar responds. B line ("to my sweet home Chicago") → turnaround. Your major triad today goes in those guitar-response bars.
